Who’s Your Daddy?

In other useless legal news, LeBron James is being sued by his father. Apparently, a man who claims to be the basketball player’s biological father is now seeking $4 million from both LeBron and his mother, claiming fraud, defamation and misrepresentation.

Leicester Bryce Stovell claims he had a one-night stand with LeBron’s mother in 1984, which he believes resulted in a pregnancy. When he tried to contact her in 2007 believing that he was LeBron’s father, she allegedly denied ever knowing him.  The suit claims that LeBron — through his lawyer — then agreed to take a DNA paternity test, with the results saying Stovell was not his father. However, the self –proclaimed daddy dearest believes the results were tampered with and is now seeking “justice.”
